Tanks and vests are deceptively technical. A ribbed tank has to recover its shape after stretch, which is a function of the rib quality and the elastane content, not the sewing. Quilted vests are the opposite — the challenge is keeping the quilt pattern even through the padding.

Frequently asked questions
Why does a ribbed tank lose its shape?
Usually too little elastane in the rib, or a rib that is stretched during sewing and never recovers. We specify the rib's elastane content and control the sewing tension, then wash-test the sample so you see the behaviour before bulk.
Can you make a quilted gilet with a custom quilt pattern?
Yes. Diamond, channel and chevron patterns are all possible. A custom pattern needs its own template, so it carries a one-off setup cost.
Do you make reflective workwear vests?
Yes, including reflective tape to the relevant standard. Tell us the market you are selling into so we apply the correct tape specification.
Are these made on the same line as your T-shirts?
Ribbed tanks and jersey tanks share knit lines. Quilted gilets use a separate padded-goods line. Both are in-house, so we are not subcontracting your order.
