Apparel Customization Methods
8 decoration techniques we run in-house, from screen printing and embroidery to chenille patches and rhinestone hotfix. Each page covers the real cost drivers, colour limits and wash durability — not just what the method is called.

Choosing a decoration method
The single biggest cost lever is not the technique — it is the colour count and the number of print positions. Screen printing has a setup cost per colour per position, which disappears at volume; DTF and DTG have almost no setup but a higher unit cost. The crossover usually sits somewhere between 50 and 150 pieces depending on artwork.
Durability is the second lever. Embroidery outlasts every print method over repeated washes, but it cannot reproduce gradients or fine detail. Most production ranges end up combining methods rather than picking one.
Mix and match decoration on one order
Most programmes combine two or three methods — a printed body with an embroidered chest mark, for example. Tell us the effect you want and we will spec the cheapest way to achieve it.
