Streetwear is a weight and volume game. The silhouette that reads as authentic comes from heavyweight fabric and a boxy, drop-shoulder cut — a 180 gsm tee printed with a streetwear graphic still looks like a promotional tee. Getting the weight and the drop right is the whole product.
Weight is the product
240 gsm is the floor for a credible streetwear tee; 280–320 gsm reads as genuinely heavyweight. For hoodies, 400 gsm and above. This is not marketing — it is what determines the drape that customers recognise instantly.
The oversized cut
Oversized is a pattern decision, not simply sizing up. Drop shoulder, wider body, shorter length, and a ribbed collar that stays tight. We grade our own oversized block rather than using a standard block with extra centimetres added.
Finishing that signals quality
Double-stitched hems, ribbed collar with elastane, woven main label, and if it is a hoodie, a properly lined hood. These are the details customers notice on a $120 piece.
